Ahhh… working two part time jobs means your rarely get a whole day, never mind 4 glorious days in a row off. At first I was antsy.. I’m so used to having something to do at a certain time.
It was a lovely four days.
Rewatching The Hobbit, An Unexpected Journey and Torchwood and Doctor Who. I PINNED, and blogged. I pondered my Mickey blanket ..still don’t know how I want to design that one. I finished another infinity scarf and started another. I started another baby blanket..just one to have on hand. {I don’t know what’s in the water at one of my jobs but WOW I’ve made a lot of those lately!} Decided on what pattern I wanted for a shawl / wrap for me. GASP yes, I’m making something for ME! I went shopping with my sister and surprise made her wait while I pondered what yarn I wanted.
The only sad thing was the store we went to was the one with the smaller yarn selection. We didn’t have time to go to the larger one. Even there the colour selection isn’t want I want. I still haven’t purchased the yarn for my Mood Blanket. I think I’ll have to order on line to get all the colours I want. I’ve never done that before and I’m still a little leery of it.

Having time off is glorious! We have guests for March break and I stayed working full time. UG! I should have taken time off in hindsight.

Luckily I worked ahead and now have to play catch up. I was sick with high fever and had to leave early one day and take another off. Sometimes your body knows best 😉 On the mend now and it sunny and warm, so that gives me energy.

Thank you. My Grandmother taught me years ago. Last after university I picked it up again and now I’ve been inspired to create more. It’s relaxing and satisfying.

I love to crochet too! I make all my own dish cloths because hubby claims there is nothing better than the ones I make. Each of my children has a homemade afghan. I made myself a shawl when I was young & I loved it, but never could find the pattern again. I love shawls!
