I first learned to crochet from my Grandma. I also found my love for lavender in her garden. I remember visiting her in Consett, England. Her little garden had a lovely patch of lavender that I’d snip to fill the little bags I had crocheted.  Well, I made squares, Grandma sewed them for me.

I later picked crochet up again because I found that I had loads of spare time after I had finished university. Like most people, I started with scarves and basic granny squares. I’ve just in the past couple years started to try more complicated pieces of yarn art. My favourites are still blankets (and more recently shawls).

Thank you for visiting my little piece of the blog-verse. I have a couple other blogs. One for the random pieces that catch my imagination Patchwork Ponderings and another that is more or less focused on my journey to a healthier me: Just Breathe and Be Thankful
