You’re going to the craft store?! Sure I’ll go for the ride.

My sister needed paper and stuff for her scrapbooking. She was on her way to the craft stores and asked me to come “to keep her company”. I’m sure she knew that we’d only be chatting in the car because … well, there’s YARN in those stores. amount of yarn should be.jpg

I did limit myself to the yarn that was on sale and only purchased for one project. The yarn I was strong enough to put back was for a Mystery Crochet-a-long and as it turns out…wasn’t on sale. I wasn’t spending $45 USD on a project that I didn’t even know if I wanted the end product.

Now I have yarn for two cardigans and two amigurumi. The ragdoll bunny is working up quickly so I think I’ll take some time to work a swatch to check gauge for the two cardigans. You know…just to make sure I have the right hook and yarn. 😉yarn lie

I know I promised I wouldn’t work on new projects until my Sidewalk Shawl was finished. And it is. Kind of. I just have to weave the ends and make the tassels. I put that aside because when I tried it on I couldn’t figure out how they got it to look like that in the photo. It’s ok. I’m going to buy a dress specifically to go with the soft grey to wear for my nephew’s graduation. So I have to add the tassels 🙂

Oh well, such is a yarn artists life 🙂 What #WIPs do you have?
